Moscow City Court overturns a decision, which allowed Google to analyze personal emails of its Russian users. Google responds: analyzing correspondence using its bots has been directly prescribed in the Customer Agreement. The court came to a decision that it doesn't matter who reads the correspondence, if it violates users' confidentiality.
US began an antitrust investigation into Google's search engine system operations. The FTC, along with the US Department of Justice, suspect Google of creating openings for its own service offerings on Android OS devices, while setting hurdles for competing services. Russia has long alleged Google's restricting competition on Android devices.
