The United States Secretary of State John Kerry said on Tuesday during an interview on CBS that it is very likely that China and Russia have been reading his emails. He also accused China and Russia of launching cyber attacks against the US government.

The US has been frequently accusing China of hacking and cyber attacking the US targets, coupled with Kerry’s statement on CBS, it looks like the US becomes a victim in cyber security. However, is the US really a victim? The answer is clearly “no”.

Li Haidong, a professor from China Foreign Affairs University told Global Times that the US is playing a victim in order to cover its own unbridled spying on other countries. What Kerry said is very unprofessional, since there is no evidence to support his accusation.
